Frequently Asked Questions

Showing all questions.

Do I need prior experience?
No experience is required for beginner courses. Advanced tracks expect comfort with formula math, dilution calculations, and structured evaluation.
Are materials included?
Online courses offer an optional starter kit (where shipping regulations allow). In-person classes provide lab access and consumables during scheduled sessions.
Do you offer certificates?
Yes. Certificates are issued upon completing required modules and passing the evaluation criteria for the selected track.
What if I miss a live session?
Recordings are available for online blocks when permitted by the instructor. In-person sessions can be rescheduled within availability and safety constraints.
Which course should I start with?
If you’re new to formulation, start with the Foundations course. If you already build accords and understand concentration math, consider the Creative Lab track.
Do you teach IFRA and safety practices?
Yes. We cover safe handling, dilution, documentation basics, and a practical overview of compliance concepts. Always follow your local regulations and supplier SDS/IFRA documents.
Can I take courses from outside the US?
Yes—online cohorts are international. Starter kits may be restricted in certain regions; we provide alternatives and shopping lists when shipping isn’t possible.
How long do I have access to course content?
Access windows depend on the program. Typical cohorts include access throughout the class plus a post-course review period for downloads and replays.
Do you provide feedback on formulas?
Yes—feedback formats vary by track (written notes, live critique, rubric scoring). We focus on structure, balance, diffusion, stability considerations, and clarity of intent.
How do payments and refunds work?
Payment schedules and refund rules depend on the cohort and location. If you need help, submit a question with your email and we’ll respond with the relevant policy.
